It was a pretty low-key day, but I am glad we took the time to celebrate because Jason is definitely worth it! He is one of the kindest people I know. He is constantly looking out for those around him, especially his family. He is always willing to lend a hand and his technical expertise. He doesn't always let his emotions show, but he feels things deeply. He is a great dad who rarely balks at the fact that I relinquish all responsibility for Leila as soon as he walks in the door every night. I can't imagine my life without him, so I am extremely grateful that he was born!!

Jason's Birthday
We got to celebrate the birth of Jason yesterday. Hip hip hooray! When I asked him what he wanted to do, he said he wanted to have curry for dinner. So I arranged for my mom to watch the girls so that we could have a night out. We went to the Thai House in Lehi and indulged in some yummy yummy curry.
Afterwards, we hit up Coldstone.

Easter 2015
Easter fell on Conference weekend this year and Leila was having a really hard time sitting still Saturday morning, so we gave her her Easter basket early.
Ellie got a little basket too that included a stuffed bunny and a rattle. You can see that the rattle was an instant hit!
I may make this a tradition because then Sunday can focus more on the true reason for Easter instead of the commercial fluff. We dyed Easter eggs last Monday at my mom's house so we went back over there between Conference sessions on Sunday for an egg hunt. It was a gorgeous spring day!

Easter is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on my Savior, Jesus Christ, and everything He's done for me. With life being, well, life, it is easy to get caught up in unimportant things and focus on the negative. This weekend, I tried hard to focus on the many blessings I have received. One of my biggest blessings is my family. I am so grateful for my parents' decision to be married in the temple so that I can be sealed to them for eternity. In turn, I am grateful that Jason and I were married in the temple so that my children are sealed to me for eternity. I cannot imagine life without the knowledge of eternal families. The alternative is just devastating.

Random March Pics
March 1-Leila got all dressed up for church and informed me that she wanted a bow in her hair like Ellie (even though Ellie wasn't wearing a bow at that point). These two are my whole world and make my heart burst with pride and joy!
My little Sunbeam finally likes going to Primary!
March 4-I took pictures of Leila's many faces. Such a drama queen!

March 22-At church, Leila decided that she needed to be "like a baby" and sit in Ellie's carseat with her snacks and water. Whatever, it kept her from running out in the hall for a minute.
March 23-Ellie's trying really hard to roll over these days. Won't be long now!
