Ellie loves to climb on everything and feels so proud of herself when she conquers a new height.

Did I mention she likes to climb?  She thinks this bottom drawer is her own personal step stool.

I went to 3 different stores today and every one of the cashiers remarked "What big, beautiful brown eyes she has!"  I hadn't noticed.

Ellie is 18 months!

Ellie is now 18 months and that means she got to go to nursery today!  Hallelujah!!  At 18 months she:
*  loves to climb on EVERYTHING
*  will not leave anything in a drawer where it is supposed to be
*  sleeps like a champ
*  loves following around her big sister
*  doesn't like being in the car, especially if Leila isn't there
*  doesn't talk much yet
*  smiles constantly

California Vacation

Jason's grandmother turned 75 this year and we decided to make a trip to California for her party.  And since we were going to be in California already...we did two days of Disneyland too!  My mom, Annie, and the Ziebarths were all able to come with us too.  Quite the par-tay!  The drives were not very pleasant as Ellie did a LOT of screaming.  But overall it was a great getaway.
 

Passport to Love: Brazil

For our passport date this month, we went to Brazil.  And we also celebrated Jason's birthday.  We were going to go to a BYU soccer game but neither of us were feeling very well.  So we went to Tucanos for lunch and then came home and enjoyed a chocolate brigadeiro cake.  A short and simple date filled with good food and better company.

Adventures to the Aquarium

Annie and I took the girls to the aquarium today.  They had such a fun time looking at all the fish!

Texas Roadhouse Fieldtrip

Ellie and I got to tag along on Leila's preschool fieldtrip to Texas Roadhouse today.  They got to draw on the floors with chalk, tour the kitchen, and shape some roll dough with cookie cutters.  Such a fun time!
