Provo Canyon

We took a drive up Provo Canyon yesterday with the hopes that we'd be able to get some good family pictures.  The picture part didn't go as well as I was hoping for, but it was still a great day to get out of the house!

Leila's First Day of Preschool (Year 2)

Leila got to start preschool this morning with Miss Penny and she couldn't be more excited!  So much so that I could barely get her to stand still long enough to snap some pictures.  Although I don't know who was more excited to be getting back into school: her or mommy!  This girls loves to learn, be with others, and thrives in the classroom situation.

Labor Day Trip to Mirror Lake

We made a day trip out to Mirror Lake yesterday and met up with the Rogers and Britts who had been camping up there over the weekend.  It was such a beautiful drive and a perfect day for a little excursion.

Aimless August (Phone Pics)

August 11-Leila finished up her summer dance class and had a little mini recital to show off what they've been doing.

August 24-These two are starting to interact more and more and I LOVE it.  I was working at the desk when suddenly they were both laughing hysterically and I looked over to find Ellie "attacking" Leila.  I am grateful they have each other.

August 25-Ellie is getting so big!

August 26-While Ellie napped, Leila and I had a movie party in mommy's bed and introduced her to Peter Pan.

August 27-We made a special trip to Build-a-Bear so that Leila could get a special friend to help her get rid of her binky (finally).  Welcome to the family Rainbow!

August 27-Ellie is pulling herself up on everything now.  She thinks she's so big!

August 28-I found Leila wearing her Cinderella dress and surrounded by all of her princess things.  Thinks she likes princesses much these days?

Later that afternoon, we spent some time all playing together in Leila's room and got out the camera to document that really they just like to climb all over mom.  Love these girls!
