I invited my cousin Laura's son Jacob over to play this morning so that she could go run some errands. Leila and Jacob get along great and they only live a few minutes away from us, so I don't know what we don't get together more often! They played in our pretend kitchen, fingerpainted, and chased each other all over the house. It was nice to have someone to help entertain Leila.

Boothe Birthday Bash
My dear friend Elisabeth made a trip into town and through her two kids a joint birthday party as an excuse to catch up. Leila and I went and I don't know who enjoyed herself more! A little splash pond got set up in the backyard and all the kiddos had a blast with their impromptu swim party. It worked out nice since then the adults could sit and talk a little more easily. At some point Leila decided that her clothes weren't a good enough swimsuit and proceeded to strip down to her pull-up. Eventually even that was too much for her and it was all I could do to keep her from going full blown commando. Crazy girl.
We eventually tore them all away for presents and yummy cake. And then we continued to play and visit while munching and sweets until the kids had had enough.

Jumbled June (Phone Pics)
June 2
Leila started a summer dance class today and she LOVES it!
June 3
Spent the morning at the farm at Thanksgiving Point and Leila got to ride the pony "all by herself!"
June 7
Showing off the new dress Grandma Ziebarth bought her.
June 11
Leila loves to climb in in Ellie's crib when she wakes up. She then proceeds to pet her like a dog and say "he's so cute!"
June 12
In keeping with her current fascination with all things princess, Leila informed me that she wanted "pretty princess hair."
We went on a picnic to Discovery Park with Grandma for lunch. What a fun outing!
June 14
When we pulled up to the church today, Leila insisted on taking her picture in the same spot she did last week. Not much gets past this girl!
After church, she played dress-up and was "Princess Cowboy Anna."
June 17
I finally took Leila into the dentist for her first check-up. She did amazingly well! And no cavities! Dentist said that everything looks great, we just need to work on weaning her off her binky completely so that her bite can form properly.
June 30
These two are usually content to just do their own things, but Leila's always great about giving her sister some hugs!
