We were looking for an out on Saturday and I really wanted to take Leila to a pumpkin patch. Thanks to the wonders of Facebook, I had heard about a small farm just down the street from our house that several people had gone to and really enjoyed. So we decided to check it out and I'm glad we did! They had a donkey, goats, chickens, sheep, puppies, and rabbits that Leila LOVED seeing and petting.
Leila spend most of her time in this corn box trying to walk around and constantly showing me what she found (corn kernels).
We let her wander through the hay maze that was just her size. She would run full force laughing until she would come to a dead end. Then she would turn to find me, lift up her arms and say, "elp oo, elp oo" (Leila talk for "help you"). I'd direct her in the right direction and she'd be off laughing once more.
We also explored the other activities they had which included a small corn tunnel, and a hay bale jungle gym.
Then I tried to get a nice picture of Leila but she wouldn't cooperate. She had spotted the train and just wanted to go ride it.
So I climbed in with her and we rode the train. She loved every minute of it!
