ACOM Summer Party

This year, Ancestry had their summer party at Thanksgiving Point.  They provided dinner and we had exclusive access to the Gardens and the Museum of Natural Curiosity.  We met up with my friend Sally and her family in the Gardens and Leila loved seeing "her friends."  Funnily enough, she was more friendly to Sally than she was to her daughter who is only a little younger than Leila.

Leila always has a blast at the "water museum" and this time was no exception.  It was nice that it was only Ancestry employees there because it helped with the crowds a little.

Jaunty July (Phone Pics)

July 2-This big girl is sitting up on her own!

July 9-As I was walking to my book club meeting, I turned around and saw this beautiful double rainbow perfectly aligned with my house.  This home, the people inside it, and the spirit that is felt there are truly my treasures.

July 11-Our ward hosted their annual hogs n' dogs.  Leila loved riding her bike, but we still need work on boundaries with her.  She slipped out the back entrance and I had to chase her down half a neighborhood block before I caught up to her.  Goober!

July 18-Ellie's hair is long enough for a little ponytail (ignore the Christmas jammies)!

July 19-Grandma introducing Ellie to crushed ice.  She loved it so she must be related to us!

July 29-Shopping with 2 cuties

July 31-I had to make an unexpected trip to Ancestry which meant Leila got an impromptu trip to the Riverwoods splash pad!

DDM Summer Party

For their summer party this year, DDM invited us to Boondocks up in Kaysville last night.  Leila had so much fun playing games, going on bumper boats, and playing on the playground.  She also liked mini golfing but didn't quite grasp all of the concepts (like not picking her ball up mid-hole).  And she beat me at bowling!  True, she had bumpers and I didn't, but still!
